I have been working out in the gym off and on for the past 20 years. Talking with every gym rat in the industry has given me conflicting stories on how to gain muscles and lose fat.
Most of them told me to cut carbs and increase protein in order to lose fat. I tried that concept of a weight loss program and I went down from 280 to 210 pounds, but I was just a smaller version of my former self. Even though I lost weight, I also lost muscles. To say the least, I did not have the muscle definition of a person who goes to the gym. I was also tired all the time and did not have the energy to go the gym since I cut carbs out of my diet.
That’s when I spoke to Frank and he built a program for me that consists of 65% carbs, 15% fats and 20% protein. He guaranteed me that I will be in the best shape of my life. Since being on the program, I entered a contest at the local Cross Fit gym, along with two other people in my team and we won first place with a prize of $20,000.
Now that I reached my goal, I cheat all weekend, but I start back on the program on Monday. By Wednesday, I’m back to my goal weight. It’s been three years since being on Frank’s program and it is the best thing I could’ve done for me.
